TeamChabuk-Sports Desk: The Maharashtra government has paved the way for the upcoming IPL. Amid rising cases of corona, the state government has decided to relax the rules regarding the organization of IPL 2021.
Teams have been allowed to practice, as well as approval for teams to return to the hotel amid a night curfew over the weekend. IPL teams and staff had urged this.
according to the time of the match, the teams in Mumbai are practicing in two sessions in CCI and MCA. The first session is from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and the second is from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
The second wave of Covid-19 is going on in Maharashtra and new cases of infection are coming to the fore here every day. In view of this, the state government decided to impose night curfew in the entire state, including Mumbai, on Sunday. Under this, section 144 and curfew will be imposed from 8 pm to 7 am. It is also starting from today, i.e. Monday.
the 14th season will start from April 9 in Chennai. The last winners Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other here. After this, the second match of the tournament will be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium from 7:30 pm, in which the teams of Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings will face each other.
All the league matches of this IPL will be played at only six places in which Mumbai will also have 10 matches. But Corona’s ever-increasing cases have raised concerns. Despite this, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly made it clear on Sunday that all the matches would be played in the bio-bubble as per his schedule.
Meanwhile, it is a matter of relief that most of the ten field workers of Wankhede Stadium who were found infected are now getting negative reports.
