Team Chabuk-Sports Desk : Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was happy with the magnificent century innings; former Australian wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist has congratulated Pant.
Gilchrist tweeted, saying, It’s not just about how many you get, but also when you get them. If you can somehow sync the first with the second, when the team needs it most, you’re a true match winner. In response to Gilchrist’s tweet, Pant thanked him. Pant tweeted, “Huge compliment coming from you, Gilly! Learned a lot watching you over the years.”

Pant completed his century with a six on the second day of the fourth Test. This wicket-keeper batsman played a brilliant century of 101 runs with the help of 13 fours and two sixes in 118 balls. Pant registered his name with former Australian veteran Adam Gilchrist by scoring a century at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad.
Pant became the second wicket-keeper batsman in the world and the first in Asia to score Test centuries in India, Australia and England after Adam Gilchrist.
It is Pant’s first century on Indian soil, while the third of his Test career. Pant scored the first century of his Test career against England. He scored 114 against England at The Oval in the year 2018. At the same time, the second Test century was made by this wicket-keeper batsman in the year 2019 (Sydney) against Australia.
