Other cricketers found to be corona positive
Axar Patel is the second cricketer to be found infected with corona after Kolkata Knight Riders Nitish Rana. Nitish’s report on Thursday came negative after he was infected on March 22. According to the BCCI guidelines, a player must remain in isolation for at least 10 days outside the bio-secure bubble after his corona test. No workouts and exercises are allowed during this time. Infected people doing bed rest will be examined by team doctors at regular intervals. If the condition does not improve, the player will be admitted to the hospital immediately.
Corona blast at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium
Eight employees of this historic ground have been found infected with corona, who had been working hard for several weeks to make the tournament a success day and night. The first match here is to be played between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings on April 9. A total of 10 matches are to be played at Wankhede Stadium between April 10 and April 25.
