Team Chabuk-Sports Desk: Team India’s star opener KL Rahul flopped once again. The team management gave him a chance to open for the third time in the third T20 against England on Tuesday but he did not succeed in capitalizing on that opportunity.
Rahul was out for zero for the second time in a row and returned to the pavilion. He was bowled by Mark Wood on the third ball of the third over. At the same time, an embarrassing record was recorded in his name. He got out at zero three times in the last four innings and returned to the pavilion.
Rahul has scored 1, 0, 0 runs in the last three innings against England. He equaled former fast bowler Ashish Nehra (2 times) and batsman Ambati Rayudu (2 times) in the most number of dismissals in a single series / tournament.
Nehra was dismissed twice in the 2010 ICC World T20 while Rayudu returned to the pavilion in 2015 after being dismissed twice at home against South Africa.
