Team Chabuk-Sports Desk: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter will be engaged to Pakistan’s current fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi. Affirming this on the last day i.e. Sunday, Afridi said that Shaheen Afridi’s family had formally approached his daughter for marriage.

Afridi tweeted, “Both families agree on this and my daughter will be engaged to Shaheen.” He said that the formal announcement of engagement will be made soon.
Shaheen’s father Ayaz Khan also confirmed that he had sent a proposal for his son to Afridi’s family and it has been accepted. He said, “We are very happy and the two families have been discussing it for the last few months. Hopefully, the dates will be decided soon.”
Shaheen and Afridi were seen playing in PSL
Shahid Afridi and Shaheen Shah Afridi were playing in Pakistan Super League (PSL) which has been postponed due to Covid-19. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi made his international debut for Pakistan in 2018. Presently, he is the main fast bowler of the Pakistan team in all three formats.

Shaheen Afridi has taken 48 wickets in 15 Tests for Pakistan. During this time, his best performance in an innings has been 5/77. At the same time, he has 45 wickets in 22 ODIs. In this format, he has taken five wickets twice. Apart from this, Afridi has taken 24 wickets in 21 T20 Internationals.
