Team Chabuk-Sports Desk: The Indian team defeated England by eight runs in an exciting match. After Suryakumar’s brilliant batting in the crucial match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad, the bowlers also bowled well and won the match in the last over. With this victory, the team of India and England has reached a 2-2 draw in the five-match series.

Chasing India’s target of 186 runs, the England team could only make 177 runs for eight wickets in 20 over’s. For England, Ben Stokes (46) and Johnny Bairstow (40) played the biggest innings. For India, Shardul Thakur took the most three wickets and Hardik-Chahar took two wickets each.

Speaking of the match, on Thursday, England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and invited the first Indian team to bat. When Rohit Sharma hit a six on the ball, it seemed that the hitmen would play a big innings but in the fourth over, Archer caught him on his own ball and sent him to the pavilion.

Lokesh Rahul had not reached double digits in the last three innings. This time he reached double digits but could only make 14 runs on 17 balls. Stokes caught them at the hands of Archer. Spinner Adil Rashid stumped captain Virat Kohli on his spin.

Suryakumar (57) got a chance to bat in the fourth T20 match against England and he played a brilliant innings to capitalize on the opportunity. The Indian team scored 185 runs for 8 wickets in the crucial match. Rishabh Pant contributed 30 and Shreyas Iyer 37 runs. India managed to make their best score of this series. Archer took four wickets for 33 runs.

Captain Kohli’s New Record

Indian captain Virat Kohli was dismissed for just one run in the fourth T20 against England. Adil Rashid made him his victim on the fourth ball of the ninth over. Rashid stumped him out at the hands of wicketkeeper Jose Butler. With this, an unwanted record was registered in Kohli’s name. He has been stumped out for the first time in T20 international cricket.

Rashid, who has stumped Virat Kohli twice in his international career, has become the first bowler. Earlier in the year 2018, in Nottingham ODI, it was Butler who stumped Kohli on Adil’s ball. In international cricket, Virat Kohli has been stumped five times. Four of these have been against leg-spinners.
