Team Chabuk-National Desk : the crime branch of Delhi Police arrested a man named Dharmendra Singh Harman in the violence in Red Fort. According to the police, Dharmendra’s arrest has been made on the basis of investigation and location of the video footage. If the crime branch is to be believed, Dharmendra Singh Harman has been arrested from Delhi and he is also from Delhi.
How was Dharmendra arrested?
According to the police, Dharmendra was clearly visible in a video footage of the violence that took place near the Red Fort on January 26. Police had received information that Dharmendra is a resident of Delhi. On this basis, many teams of police were engaged in raids. According to crime branch sources, the SIT found a video footage of Dharmendra in which he was seen climbing on top of the car. After examining the footage and finding that Dharmendra’s January 26 location was near the Red Fort, Dharmendra was arrested on the basis of information.
124 people arrested since violence
Delhi Police has arrested 124 people so far. 44 FIRs have been filed, out of which investigation of 14 cases is being done by Crime Branch of Delhi Police. In search of the same and other accused, the team of Crime Branch is conducting raids in different areas.
The appeal by the police has also had an impact. In fact, the police had appealed to the common people to send photographs and videos of the miscreants to the police so far, the police have received thousands of photos and videos from the public. Attempts are made to identify the miscreants in a photo and video.
