Explain that the opposition parties are protesting in view of the rising prices of petrol-diesel and cooking gas in the country. Rising oil and gas prices have upset the general public, while opposition parties are constantly besieging the government on the issue.
However, there has been no change in petrol and diesel prices even on the 14th day on behalf of state-owned oil companies. Last Saturday, the price of diesel had gone up by 37 to 39 paise, while the price of petrol had gone up by 38 to 39 paise. Today, for the second day in a row, the price of petrol and diesel will remain stable and people will feel relief.
Petrol prices have reached an all-time high in Delhi and Mumbai. The price of petrol in these two cities is at its highest level. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 97 per liter and diesel at Rs 88.06 per liter.
