Asaram’s health deteriorates in Jodhpur jail

Team Chabuk-National Desk : Asaram, who is lodged in Jodhpur Jail in Rajasthan, suddenly fell ill, as a result of Asaram has been admitted to the emergency ward of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital after complaining of restlessness and difficulty in breathing. Asaram is serving a jail term in Jodhpur’s Central Jail for sexually abusing a minor.

Asaram felt restless in jail on Tuesday night, and then was first given first aid for an hour in the jail dispensary. He was then brought to the emergency ward of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, where Asaram reported that his BP was rising, he was feeling restless, and he could not breathe properly. His knees aren’t working either. When the emergency was brought to Asaram, some people from his organization also reached there, who were taken out by the police.

A large number of supporters arrived outside the hospital

Asaram was shifted to the CCU ward of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital after undergoing various tests at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. As soon as the news of Asaram’s illness reached his supporters, then all of them reached outside the hospital in large numbers.

The sexual abuse case will be heard on March 8

the sexual abuse case against Asaram was scheduled to be heard in the Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur last week, but the hearing was postponed due to the absence of Asaram’s lawyers. The case will now go to trial on March 8. Asaram was sentenced to life imprisonment by the SC-ST Court.

Cases are registered in these charges

In the year 2013, a minor girl had accused Asaram of sexual abuse in Manai Ashram near Jodhpur, after which Asaram was arrested on August 31, 2013 from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Asaram has been booked under POSCO, Juvenile Justice Act, rape, criminal conspiracy and many other cases. In 2014, Asaram filed a bail petition in the Supreme Court, but the court rejected it. Then in April 2018, the Jodhpur Special Court found Asaram guilty of raping a minor girl. The court had sentenced Asaram to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh under the Pocso Act.
