In this connection, France has announced a one-month limited lockdown in the capital Paris and other areas. Schools and necessary shops will remain open during this time. This information has come to light quoting the French media.
Explain that partial lockdown was imposed in some places in the northern part of France in February last month. In France, after November 2020, the number of Corona patients was increasing again. According to Worldometer data, more than 91 thousand people have died here so far and the total number of infected people is more than 41 lakh. More than 38,000 new cases were reported in France on Wednesday, died 241 people. France Corona ranks sixth on the list of affected countries.
The infection is spreading rapidly in the French capital, Paris, due to a new form of corona virus, which has led to a shortage of hospital ICU beds. The vaccination campaign is also being affected due to limited supply of Covid-19 vaccine.
Patients have been sent to less affected areas than Paris via special medical planes over the weekend. The head of the National Health Agency, Jerome Solomon, had said on Sunday that if we had to impose a lockdown, we would do the same. Things are complicated and it is getting worse in the Paris area.
Solomon acknowledged that the nationwide curfew after 6 p.m. was not enough for some areas to contain the spread of the infection. This was not enough, especially in view of the new format that has emerged in the UK.
