Team Chabuk-National Desk : The 14th season of the Indian Premier League is to be played this April-May. The England Cricket Board has announced a special waiver for its players for the IPL even before the start of the season.

The board says that players playing in the IPL can stay out of the New Zealand tour. England are scheduled to play a two-match Test series with New Zealand in June and during this time, IPL knockout matches are also scheduled.

England have to play a two-match Test series against New Zealand from June 2–14. Stokes, Butler and Orcher are currently part of Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Apart from him, Sam Kurain is part of Chennai Super Kings, Chris Woakes of Delhi Capitals and Johnny Bairstow of Sunrisers Hyderabad. At the same time, Moin Ali and Mark Wood are also likely to be bought in the IPL auction to be held on Thursday.

Discounts have been given for knockout matches

In such a situation, these England players can stay out of the Test match with New Zealand during the IPL knockout in June. There is no official announcement regarding the next season of IPL yet, but it is believed that it can be held in India and it can run from the beginning of April to June. The previous season of IPL was held in the UAE due to Corona.

According to the report, the BCCI has emailed all the franchises, asking the teams who did not reach the knockout to release those players early so that it does not affect the Test series.
