Road ‘UN’ Safety World Series : Irfan Pathan has been found infected with coronavirus

Team Chabuk-Sports Desk: Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has been found infected with corona virus. He confirmed this by issuing a statement from his Twitter handle on Monday. Irfan in his post also spoke about the news of being infected as well as cautioning people.

Irfan Pathan wrote in his Twitter post, ‘I have turned out to be Covid-19 positive without any symptoms and have quarantined myself at home. I urge everyone who has come in contact with me in the last few days to have a corona checked. I urge everyone to wear a mask and follow social distance.’

Irfan had taken part in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series. He is the fourth cricketer to play in the series to be found infected with the corona. Before him, Sachin Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan and S Badrinath have also come out positive. All the cricketers shared the information from their social media handles and talked about quarantining themselves at home.

Talk about the Road Safety World Series. In view of promoting road safety, this T-20 series was organized in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. It was also attended by many former cricketers from all over the world. In the final of the tournament, the team of India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar had won the title by defeating Sri Lanka Legends. However, spectators were present in the stadium during the entire tournament and social distance was not being followed properly.
