The 13th season of the Indian Premier League was held in the United Arab Emirates last year due to the corona virus epidemic. Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s batsman AB de Villiers says that the momentum he got during the 13th IPL played in the UAE is still with him. The inaugural match of IPL 2021 will be played between RCB and Mumbai Indians on April 9. De Villiers believes that the momentum of last year’s win against Mumbai Indians is with him and the team will continue its winning streak.
According to de Villiers, it was a very long journey, happy to be back with RCB, it feels like we ended the IPL only yesterday. I believe that the momentum of the last tournament is with us and it will be a great pleasure to play the match.
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers joined the team bubble in Chennai on Thursday (April 1). According to the BCCI rules, in the series played between India and England, all except the players have to be quarantined for a week.
IPL 2021 will start from April 9 and the first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. Both the teams have reached Chennai for this match. This time, the BCCI has prepared the schedule of the IPL in such a way that no team will be able to play at home.
