Team Chabuk-International Desk : Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has announced his exit from the position of Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Bezos, who served as the CEO of Amazon, which has made a mark in the e-commerce industry, will leave his position by the end of this year. Amazon Web Services Chief Andy Jessie will be given the responsibility for the position in place of Jeff Bezos.
Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man, based on a stake in Amazon, said he would step down in the third quarter of this year and would replace Amazon Web Services chief Andy Jessie as CEO. This news came at a time when Amazon’s profit has increased to a record level.
This has happened because people have made the most online purchases during the Corona era. In a letter to Amazon employees, Jeff Bezos said he will continue to pursue important Amazon initiatives, but will now focus on other philanthropic initiatives such as his One Day Fund and Bezos Earth Fund, as well as other business ventures including space exploration and journalism.
Jeff Bezos is 57 years old and started Amazon from his garage. It then ventured into a venture that later dominated online retail. It features streaming music and television, rental equipment, cloud computing, robotics, artificial intelligence and more.
Andy Jessie, who replaced Jeff Bezos as CEO, joined Amazon in 1997 as marketing manager and in 2003 established the company’s cloud services division AWH. Jeff Bezos said that Andy knows everyone in the company and that he has been working at Amazon for a long time, he will be a great leader and I am sure.
