Team Chabuk-National Desk : Lockdown has been imposed in two districts of Maharashtra in view of increasing cases of corona infection. The Yavatmal district administration has ordered a ten-day lockdown from Thursday night. At the same time, the district administration in Amravati has announced to lockdown over the weekend. It will be here from 8 pm on Saturday to 7 am on Monday and during this time markets and other establishments will remain closed.
District Magistrate of Yavatmal MD Singh said that schools, colleges, coaching classes will remain closed in the district and no religious work will be allowed while only 50 persons will be allowed in weddings.
District Magistrate Shailesh Naval said that all establishments, including hotels and restaurants, will remain open till eight in the night for the rest of the week. Earlier they were open till 10 o’clock at night. All markets and other establishments will remain closed during the lockdown over the weekend. Swimming pools and indoor games will also be closed, while only five people will be allowed in religious programs.
BMC guidelines in Mumbai
The BMC has set a check to stop the growing cases in Mumbai. BMC is eyeing places like Marriage auditorium, restaurants, pubs, clubs etc. Action will be taken against those who violate the rules in all these places. BMC has started this from Thursday itself, for which a large number of teams have been formed.
Given the boom in covid affairs, the BMC is closely watching the wedding venue, public events. A case will be registered against those who violate the rules at public function, wedding venue.
Buildings with more than five patients will be banned. If more than five patients are found in a building, that Building will be sealed.
300 marshals have been appointed to take action against the passengers traveling in the rail without a mask. BMC will double the number of marshals to take action against rail passengers traveling without masks. There is a target of action on every 25,000 people.
Highest death due to corona in Maharashtra
Corona infection has killed most people in Maharashtra. Maharashtra has accounted for 33 percent of deaths in the country only. So far, 51,631 infected people have lost their lives. Maharashtra still has the most deaths every day. In the last day, the death of 40 infected patients came to an end.
According to Health Ministry data, the total corona cases in the country have increased to one crore 9 lakh 20 thousand 201. A total of one lakh 56 thousand 14 people have lost their lives. One crore six lakh 56 thousand 845 people have been cured by beating Corona. Now the number of active cases in the country has increased to 1 lakh 37 thousand 342, that is, so many people are still corona infected.
