Team Chabuk-Sports Desk : Australian captain Aaron Finch was not bought by any of the eight franchises in the IPL 2021 auction, but today the kangaroo player played a blistering inning against the Kiwis.
Finch, the limited-over’s captain of the Australian team, played an unbeaten 79-run knocks against New Zealand on Friday with 5 fours and four sixes.
Thanks to Finch’s captaincy innings, Australia defeated Kiwis by 50 runs in the fourth T20 to tie the five-match series 2-2. Now the decisive match between the two teams will be played on March 7.
Finch has had a terrific performance in the last two games. In the last T20 too, this captain had scored an innings of 69 runs.
With the help of this quick innings, Finch has now become the batsman to score the most runs (2,310 runs) in T20 international cricket for Australia. With this, he became the first Australian batsman to score 100 sixes in T20 international cricket.
In this year’s auction, the Australian player had his eyes on everyone but he remained ‘unsold’. Finch had kept his base price at Rs 1 crore. Before the auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore released 10 players including Aaron Finch.
in the match, Australia won the toss and batting first scored 156 for six wickets in 20 over’s. In response, the Kiwi team was reduced to just 106 runs in 18.5 over’s.
