Team Chabuk-National Desk : The blasts in the very safe area of the capital Delhi have once again put a question mark on the security of Delhi. Now while the Delhi Police is preparing to make sketches of the alleged accused involved in this case, on the other hand this bomb blast has also posed a big threat to the security of the farmer’s movement. Till late in the night, the teams of Delhi Police were searching and raiding various places.
The blast at 5:05 pm on Friday evening in the VIP zone, which is considered to be very safe in the capital, has once again exposed the security situation. The blast occurred when the Beating the Retreat program was going on at a distance of just 1 kilometer from the blast, and before this program, the security agencies had conducted intensive search of the surrounding areas as well as security forces were deployed on the rumble.
A packet was thrown from a moving car
According to the information so far, a packet was thrown from a moving car at a distance of only 150 meters from the Israeli embassy and then the packet bomb exploded. Initial investigation has said that this bomb was prepared from things found in the market. Late in the night, the Delhi Police Commissioner also reached the spot and took the details of the investigation which took place till late night from his superiors.
On the basis of CCTV footage, Delhi Police is preparing to make sketches of the alleged accused in the car. Delhi Police is trying to get an estimate of the height and face of the people present in the car. Delhi Police feel that they can also get information about the number plate of the car, so the CCTV in the vicinity is also being investigated.
What was the purpose of the bomb blast?
The Delhi Police has only officially said about this bombing that it was a low-capacity bomb and its purpose was to spread panic among the people. But this bombing has once again questioned the security system of Delhi’s Lutyens zone and the Delhi Police and are also apprehensive that there is no start of big cases as before 1997 and the year before.
