Team Chabuk-National Desk: Mohammed Muthu Meera Maraikayar (Mohammed Muthu Meera Lebbai Maraikayar), the elder brother of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, has died at his home in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
He was 104 years old. According to media reports, Mohammed Muthu Meera was struggling with age related diseases. Apart from this, he also had an infection in one eye. He breathed his last at around 7:30 pm this evening.
He has two daughters and a son in his family. His wife has already died. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and DMK President M.K. Stalin has mourned his death.
former President APJ Abdul Kalam has already said goodbye to this world. He died on 27 July 2015 in Shillong, Meghalaya.
Abdul Kalam’s father used to work as a sailor and was not even well educated. He used to rent boat to fishermen. Abdul Kalam’s childhood went through poverty and struggles. To run a family of five brothers and five sisters, his father had to struggle a lot.
