Team Chabuk- Sports Desk: The spectators will not be given entry in the remaining matches of the T20 series being played between India and England. Gujarat Cricket Association gave information in this regard on Monday. According to GCA, this decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of covid-19.

GCA vice-president Dhanraj Nathwani issued a statement just a day before the third T20, saying that the three T20 matches to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on March 16, 18 and 20 would be played in an empty stadium without spectators. Money will be refunded to those who bought tickets for these matches.

The Cricket Association said in a press release on Monday, “In view of the rising incidence of corona epidemic, the GCA has decided that the three T20 matches between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad will be played in an empty stadium and Viewers will be given their money back under the rules.

Earlier, in the first two matches of the series, 50 per cent spectators were allowed to go to the stadium. But that will not happen now. Speaking of the series, the teams of India and England have won one match each and are level in the series.
