Team Chabuk-Sports Desk: Virat & Company has drawn 1-1 in a series of five T20 matches. After a crushing defeat in the first match, the team won the second match by performing brilliantly in every department.
The problem of the opening pair’s team is still there. Lokesh Rahul also failed in the second match in a row. However, young Ishan Kishan, who has tried to replace Shikhar Dhawan, has increased the difficulties of this opener by hitting a four on the spot.
Now it remains to be seen whether Kohli, along with Ishaan, will bet on Rahul or vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who has been on the bench for the last two matches. Kohli also returned to form
Captain Kohli, who could not open an account in three of the last five innings, has also returned to form, which has boosted the confidence of Team India. The bowlers did their job well by stopping England at 164 runs. Hardik Pandya bowled four over’s after a long time and this helped India to come down with an extra batsman. A better performance is expected from Pant who has been sent to number four above Shreyas Iyer in the batting order. Pant could not turn a good start in both innings into a big score. The Indian team would not want to change the winning XI. However, the return of regular opener Rohit is possible.
Wood will return
Meanwhile, the England team will come down with the intention of returning. In the absence of Mark Wood, who could not play in the second match due to injury, England’s attack did not seem effective.
