Team Chabuk-Entertainment: The 67th National Film Awards are being announced. This time the awards have been announced late due to the corona virus. This year, a total of 461 feature films were shortlisted for the national awards. The announcement of these awards to be held at the National Media Center was made by PIB through a tweet on its official Twitter account. The awards for 2019 are being announced this time.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s film ‘Chhichhore’ has been given the award for best film. Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Pratik Babbar, Tahir Raj were seen in the lead roles along with Sushant Singh Rajput in the film Chhichhore. Director Nitesh Tiwari’s film was much loved by the audience.
Kangana Ranaut has been awarded the title of Best Actress. Kangana has got this award for the films Manikarnika and Panga. Kangana has received the National Award for the fourth time. Earlier, she has also received awards for Fashion, Queen, Tanu Wads Manu Returns.
On the other hand, Manoj Bajpai has been selected as the best actor (Hindi) for Bhonsle. Earlier, he has also received National Award for Pinjar and Satya. Apart from Manoj Bajpai, Dhanush has also won the Best Actor award. He got this award for Asuran (Tamil).
Pallavi Joshi has won the award for Best Supporting Actress for The Tashkent Files. Vijay Sethupati has been given the award for Best Supporting Actor for his super deluxe film.
Special Mention Award – ‘Biryani’, ‘Jonah Ki Porba’ (Assamese), ‘Lata Bhagwan Kare’ (Marathi), ‘Picasso’ (Marathi).
The award for best book on cinema went to ‘A Gandhian Affair: India’s Curious Portrayal of Love in Cinema ‘.
Sikkim has received the ‘Most Film Friendly State Award’ 2019.
The Hindi language film ‘An Engineered Dream’ has won the award for the best film in the non-feature film category.

Best Mail Playback Singer – Kesari – Teri Mitti – B Praak
Best Screen Play (Dialogue Writer) – Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri for Tashkent File
