Budget 2021-22 : Central University will be established in Leh

Team Chabuk-Budget Desk : Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made several big and important announcements while presenting the budget for the financial year 2021-22 in Parliament. The Union Finance Minister said that a Central University will be established in Leh. With this, 100 new Sainik Schools will also be opened across the country. Along with this, the Union Finance Minister made a big announcement in the budget and said that 15 thousand ‘ADARSH’ schools will be built across the country.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that 758 schools will be opened in tribal areas, so that children in tribal areas can be provided with basic facilities. These schools will be Eklavya schools. This will help tribal students a lot. In the budget speech, the Union Minister said that the level of 15,000 government schools will be increased by promoting school education and looking at effective quality.

50 thousand crores for NRF

Nirmala Sitharaman said in the budget speech that Higher Education Commission has been formed under the provisions of the new National Education Policy 2020. It will be the sole regulator of higher education in the country. It was announced in the 2019 budget to open the National Research Foundation. Now in the budget of 2021-22, 50 thousand crore is being arranged for this for the next five years so that research can be promoted throughout the country.

35 thousand crore special fund

The Finance Minister has announced a special fund of Rs 35 thousand crore for 4 crore scheduled caste students. This will make higher education accessible to them by removing the obstacles faced in their studies.

Emphasis on skill development

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) will be launched to prepare the youth from the point of view of skill development and training for better employment in the country. At the same time, other projects will be included under the new National Education Policy.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Indian government is working on skill training in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates So that the youth of the country can be made with quality and employable skills.

In this regard, the Government of India has started a project in collaboration with the Government of Japan. This will reduce unemployment and provide better employment opportunities to the youth.
