Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu has been seen in the farmer movement many times. Deep Sidhu is accused of provoking the farmers to the Red Fort. It was Deep Sidhu who waved the flag of Khalsa Pant at the Red Fort. During this time there was tremendous violence. However, Deep Sidhu later gave his clarification by posting a video. But the farmers present on the Singhu border have also accused Deep Sidhu and Lakha Sidhana of instigating the farmers to take them to the Red Fort. Now the question is that when the route fixed for the tractor parade is not decided to go to the Red Fort, then why did Sidhu go there?
Lakha Sidhana
Lakha Sidhana hails from Bhatinda in Punjab and has been a good kabaddi player. Apart from this, this gangster has also been and many cases are also registered on this. In many cases, it has also been arrested. Sidhana has been accused of inciting the youth before. It is alleged that during the rally, Sidhana along with Sidhu incited the farmers to violence. The chairman of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti, Satnam Singh Pannu is the first to be held responsible for the breaking of police barricades and the violence on the Red Fort. At the same time, Pannu is blaming the BJP for the violence and tarnishing of the peasant movement.
Sarvan Singh Pandher
Sarvan Singh Pandher is the general secretary of the Farmers ‘Workers’ Struggle Committee, a farmer organization of Majha area in Punjab. In 2007, Satnam Singh Pannu formed the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee after parting with the Kisan Sangharsh Committee. The base of this 13-year-old organization is Amritsar. Farmers and agricultural laborers from seven to eight districts are associated with this organization. Saravan Singh Pandher is the face of this organization. Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu has also accused farmer leader Sarvan Singh Pandher of inciting farmers. However, Pandher has apologized for the violence.
Rakesh Tikait
The fifth name, Rakesh Tikait, is being discussed, he is blaming the leaders of Kisan Sangharsh Samiti with Deep Sidhu for the Red Fort incident, while his own and viral videos have raised questions about Delhi violence. On Wednesday evening, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastava himself claimed in his press conference that violence would not have happened if the farmer leaders had not committed the promise. That is why a case has been registered against them in serious sections like murderous assault, robbery, obstruction of government work, criminal conspiracy and rioting. Section 307 of the conspiracy to kill in the case registered against Rakesh Tikait in Ghazipur police station in Delhi has also been added.
The Delhi Police has not arrested any big leaders associated with the farmers’ movement so far, but it is possible that a big action will be seen from the police in the coming days.
