Team Chabuk-National Desk : A Delhi court has issued non-bailable warrants against Bombay High Court lawyers Nikita Jacob and Shantanu on charges of sharing toolkits related to farmers’ demonstrations. Environmental activist Disha Ravi has already been arrested on charges of editing this toolkit and sharing it on social media. Meanwhile, Nikita has filed a transit bail petition in the Bombay High Court.
Nikita and Shantanu are accused of preparing documents and being in direct contact with pro-Khalistan elements, a senior police official said. Both are desired in the toolkit case. Police also raided Mumbai and other places in search of the two. On the other hand, after the non-bailable warrant was issued, Nikita filed a transit bail petition with the Bombay High Court.
He said that the cyber cell of Delhi Police reached his house on February 11 with a search warrant and seized some documents including his electronic gadget. A soldier from Vanrai police station Goregaon (East) came with the cyber cell. According to the sources, the cyber cell had then told Nikita that she would come again, but she was missing. Delhi Police say Nikita is hiding to avoid arrest.
She said in his petition that he came to know through social media that perhaps an organization called Legal Rights Observatory has lodged a false and baseless complaint with the Delhi Police and is blaming them for the January 26 violence. She appealed to the High Court to stay the apprehension of his arrest by the Vanrai police station or any other police station in Mumbai on the instructions of the Delhi Cyber Police. She has also demanded that a copy of the FIR registered in the case be handed over.

Who is Nikita Jacob?
Nikita had deleted her Twitter account during the dispute. Twitter user Vijay Patel has claimed that Nikita had prepared a document called Solidarity with Indian Farmers on January 30, 2021. It is claimed that She has also created an account on Instagram called News Infuse.
Nikita has shared a link to a website on her Twitter profile. She has stated in his introduction on this website that She is a lawyer. At the same time, it continues to raise its voice on issues of social justice and environmental protection. According to the website, Nikita wants to stand up for the right but in the end she makes an unwanted mistake. She says about herself that anyone can easily impress her. Nikita says that she wants to be a writer, singer and voice artist. She also does photography and cooks food.
Nikita, Shantanu prepared ‘Toolkit’ direction sent by telegram to Greta Thunberg: Delhi Police
Amid controversy over the arrest of environmental activist Disha Ravi, Delhi Police on Monday alleged that Disha along with two other suspects Nikita Jacob and Shantanu had prepared a ‘toolkit’ related to farmers’ demonstrations and shared it on social media. Police claim that it was Disha who sent the ‘toolkit’ to environmental activist Greta Thunberg through the Telegram app. Disha was arrested by the police from Bangalore on Saturday night.
Prem Nath, joint commissioner of Delhi Police’s cyber cell, claimed that Disha had deleted a WhatsApp group ready to spread the ‘toolkit’. She said Nikita and Shantanu had also attended a zoom meeting organized by the pro-Khalistan group Poetic Justice Foundation (PJF). Nikita was also one of the toolkit document editors. Disha, Shantanu and Nikita prepared the toolkit and edited it. Disha sent the toolkit to Greta via the Telegram app. At the same time, Disha also deleted a WhatsApp group that was created to spread the toolkit. He said the entire procedure was followed during Disha’s arrest. A Delhi court on Sunday remanded Disha Ravi in police custody for five days.
Conspiracy by Khalistan supporters to tarnish India’s image
Prem Nath said that it was during the farmers’ movement which was going on from November-December last year that the Khalistani supporters had started conspiring to tarnish India’s image all over the world. The toolkit was part of that. Through this, a conspiracy was hatched to bring Global Day of Action, Digital Strike and Twitter Storm. Disha Ravi had formed a WhatsApp group on December 6. Many people were added to it.
Dhaliwal met them from Zoom
PJF’s MO Dhaliwal, who is associated with the Khalistani organization, contacted Nikita Jacob through his colleague Puneet, who lives in Canada. A meeting was held on January 11 through Google Zoom, in which about 70 people including Disha, Nikita, Shantanu and Dhaliwal took part. It was decided to spoil the atmosphere of the country through peasant movement. After this, the toolkit Google Document was prepared. It was later posted on social media. After January 26, Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg shared the toolkit at Disha’s request.
The accused destroyed the evidence
When the case came to light on February 4, the accused started destroying the evidence. Disha deleted the WhatsApp group but the police gradually gathered evidence against them. Police have collected digital footprints related to the case. It also includes an e-mail from Shantanu mentioning the toolkit. After gathering all the information, the police took permission to search the house of lawyer Nikita on February 9. On February 11, a team reached Nikita’s house in Mumbai. Police recovered two laptops and an iPhone from there. As the team arrived in the evening, Nikita was not questioned. she was asked to sign some documents to join the interrogation but Nikita absconded the very next day. Shantanu is also absconding from his house. Several police teams are on the lookout for them.
