There is a part of America where winter nights are so long that there is no difference between day and night. America’s Alaska is also known for its long nights. The sun will no longer appear here in 2020. Sun will rise after two months.
It is dark in Alaska after November 18, which means the sun has set here after November 18. The sun will rise at 1:00 pm local time on January 23, 2021 in the city of Utqiagvik. The government here has also officially declared 65 days of darkness. The city of Utqiagvik is home to only 4,000 people. The atmosphere is also very cold as there is no sunlight here. How often the temperature here reaches minus 10 to 20 degrees.

The axis of the earth is tilted. So that the time of sunlight reaching the surface of the earth changes during the year. Iceland
