Team Chabuk-National Desk : The second phase of corona vaccination has started in the country from March 1 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi started it in the morning by getting the corona vaccine. Prime Minister Modi took a dose of covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech, on which politics has started.
Why did the PM not get the vaccine first
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that PM Modi is doing electoral politics. He further said, ‘Why did the PM not get the vaccine first, when the scientists said that the vaccine is safe, then go and get it done. Adhir Ranjan further said that earlier we had raised questions not by the committee of scientists. Why not get it installed then, if it is installed now then welcome.
Not only this, Adhir Ranjan further said that the election has been kept in mind. He further said that Kerala and Puducherry’s nurses and Assam’s Gamchha, I would say that if I had taken Geetanjali of Bengal too, everything would have been completed. After the statement of Adhir Ranjan, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad retorted and said that today Prime Minister Modi has given an answer to everyone.
He said that today, when people above 60 years of age will be vaccinated, Prime Minister Modi has initiated this. He further said that I want to say to the opposition that there are more issues to do politics in elections; can we unite in the fight against Corona? Not only this, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that all of us ministers have decided that we will not take Corona vaccine for free.
Apply Corona vaccine to youth: Mallikarjun Kharge
When asked Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, if he would get the Corona vaccine, he said, ‘I am above 70 years of age. You should give it (COVID-19 vaccine) to the young people who have more years of life unlike me. I have only 10-15 years to live. ‘
Opposition leaders expressed doubts over the vaccine
Questions were also raised before the opposition from covaxine. Congress leader Manish Tiwari had said that Prime Minister Modi should first get a vaccine to build trust among the people. Apart from this, Shashi Tharoor had said that it is dangerous to approve it without a third stage test.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had said that if the Prime Minister of the country gets the first vaccine for Corona, it creates confidence in the citizens of the country. People will be hesitant to get PM vaccination: Guleria
Dr. Randeep Guleria, head of AIIMS, said that taking the first dose of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vaccine on the very first day of the commencement of vaccination campaign for senior citizens and people above 45 years of age from other diseases any hiccup should be overcome.
Guleria said that Sister P Niveda, a resident of Puducherry, was informed in the morning about the ‘high profile’ work of vaccinating the Prime Minister. Guleria said, “He is fine after getting the vaccine.”
Health Minister appealed to get vaccinated
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that I appeal to all people above the age of 60 or above the age of 45 (who have serious illness) to come forward and get vaccinated. The Union Health Minister also appealed to all MPs and MLAs to get vaccinated.
