Team Chabuk-Political Desk: Before the Assembly elections in West Bengal, actor Mithun Chakraborty joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Kolkata on Sunday.
Mithun’s inclusion in the BJP is considered to be very important for the party in the Bengal elections. After joining BJP, Mithun Da said that trust me, I do what I say.
Mithun Chakraborty addressed thousands of people. Mithun Chakraborty, who joined BJP before Prime Minister Modi’s rally, said, “I am a Bengali by heart.” I believe that one who is living in Bengal is a Bengali.
Mithun Chakraborty said that I do what I say. He said that since he was 18 years old, he wished that he would do something for the poor and today that dream is being fulfilled.”
Chakraborty joined the BJP even before Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the rally at Brigade Parade Ground. Meanwhile, BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, party vice president Mukul Roy and Suvendu Adhikari were present at the ground where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address an election rally today. After Mithun Chakraborty joined BJP, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya tweeted and informed about this. Vijayvargiya wrote in a tweet, “Welcome Mithun Da! Famous actor Mithun Chakraborty has duly joined BJP. ”

BJP got Mithun’s support in Bengal
The BJP also got the support of actor Mithun Chakraborty, who was engaged in wielding strong power to win the election battle of West Bengal. Kailash Vijayvargiya also met him on Saturday before joining the BJP. He told that Mithun Da will also reach the PM’s rally. Vijayvargiya said that film actor Mithun Chakraborty will also arrive at the rally.

BJP leader Vijayvargiya tweeted late Saturday night after meeting the actor. Wrote in the tweet, “Just late night there was a long discussion with Mithoor actor Mithun Da of cinema industry in Belagachia, Kolkata. Hearing their stories of patriotism and love for the poor..”
Mithun Chakraborty, 70, has been a Rajya Sabha MP from the Trinamool Congress. the elections of West Bengal Legislative Assembly will begin on March 27 and end in eight phases. The last round of voting will be held on April 29. The votes will be counted on 2 May.
